Christmas Cocktail Party

To celebrate our first anniversary we will again be holding a Christmas Cocktail Party on Sunday 16th December at 1.00pm. Drinks, some exotic hot canapés and music by ‘In Accord’. What better way to ease yourself into the festive season? Tickets available from the Hon Sec priced £10 each.

AGM

I hereby give formal notice to all members that the Annual General Meeting of The Wivenhoe Ocean Racing Club will be held at 11.00hrs on Saturday 29th December at our Headquarters, The RBL Hall, The Quay, Wivenhoe.

Nominations for any of the following committee posts should be lodged with the Hon Secretary no later than Midnight on Saturday 15th December. Any nominations must be proposed and seconded by existing members. Whilst I understand that the existing committee are all willing to stand for a second term in office, the following positions need the mandate of the membership:-

Rear Commodore x 2

Flag Officer x 2

Hon Treasurer

Hon Secretary

After the AGM, the bar will be open and drinks served, the usual £5 per head donation will apply.
